The Intybus Airport/Spaceport was a large, busy hub with multiple wings and runways. After checking in with Flight Control in upper orbit, spacecraft descended like normal aircraft, and regular aircraft had to check in with the airport tower before being cleared for landing. This resulted in a plethora of different flightcraft coming and going constantly, in different sizes and configurations, each to their own craft bays and landing pads and runways.
The main terminal was a mall in itself, full of shops and stands and security. Again, the city catered to various types of alien visitors, so shops were diverse in their size, product, and services. More importantly however, was access to information.
There were data poles clustered in small banks throughout the airport mall enabling users to make queries about locations and availabilities, as well as lingual assistance. A tap of the button brought up a holo-window with several menus and sub-menus to choose from, as well as voice-activated interaction with the pole AI.

Sparks' holoform glided through the crowds, passing foreign strangers and ships alike. His movements were controlled as he wandered over to a free information terminal, HUD scanning the surrounding people and terminal as he did so. He activated it, navigating through the system with ease and eventually finding the thing he wanted. The rotating image of a Class-Y Star Jumper and it's specs appeared on the screen along with suppliers.

As Sparks shopped online and browsed through the various supplier catalogues, a small alien waddled out of the crowd and paused at his foot, glancing up at the stranger's datapole display. A moment later, the creature reached out and tapped on Sparks' foot with a small, velvet paw.
"Excuse me sir!" the alien called out from beneath Sparks' knees. It sat back on its haunches and waved up at him.
Seated next to his foot was a fat, round creature covered in a plush coat of pale, orange-striped fur. It had a large, football-shaped head topped with enormous, shell-like pointed ears that swivelled forward attentively, and a pair of equally enormous yellow eyes that took up roughly sixty percent of its skull. It sat back on a pair of stubby legs and had little nub-like arms with little mitten paws, and it had a long, fluffy tail that wagged happily behind its spherical body.
It looked like a bizarre cartoon of a cat with overly long ears. But this thing was smiling up at him with a tiny cleft mouth, and was clearly missing any kind of olfactory organ on its face. And it was wearing a red business tie, with diagonal striping.
"I see you're looking for spare parts! Is there anything I can help you with?" it asked him in a tiny chipmunk voice. It held up a little white business card for Sparks to take.

He'd noticed the close proximity warning even before the creature had tried to get his attention, choosing to ignore them. Only when his foot was tapped did he respond, feet shifting away and orange slits looking down at them. They were a strange creature, his HUD scanning them immediately. The species was already in his data-base, "Unless you sell parts for a Class-Y Star Jumper, then no." His voice was firm as he turned his attention back to the terminal and collecting the information he needed on his HUD, shutting it down a moment after and looking over the locations of the suppliers.

The species was called a Kaion, from a planet called Kaio-9 in a remote system on the outer arms of the galaxy. Kaions were a common sight, often travelling with small groups and rarely alone. They were known for their supernatural sense of hearing and high intelligence, and were able to communicate with a broad range of silicate species, including Cybertronians, via radio waves. The Kaions were also a very old, hardy race that had developed space travel early in their development, and thus had penetrated a variety of cultures and established themselves as friendly but useful tagalongs. They were rumoured to share a hivemind with others of their own species, but that was difficult to confirm.
"Is it parts yer lookin' for?" the small creature called up to him. "I know a guy! C'mon, lemme take ya to hangar alley!"
The Kaion beckoned for him with both of its paws.

He silently looked down at the creature as he assessed the information and thought about their offer. Sure, it'd make things go quicker, but he never trusted a salesman so forward about their sales. He was better off finding the suppliers on his own. "I know several. I'm no stranger to this kind of business." He was straight-forward as his eyes looked ahead and he stepped over the creature, gradually moving away while looking at his map.

Like an oversized (fat) squirrel, the Kaion bounced alongside him, its fluffy tail snaking along behind him.
"Are ya sure? 'Cause you don't look like no engineer I've ever seen before," the little creature pointed out. "And you sound kinda funny," it added, apparently having no trouble keeping up with Sparks' stride.

As the stranger and the alien stroll, a pair of autobots come straight from the opposite direction, the large one walking slowly, her bulky and purple armor making her frame a bit androgynous and a smaller one, almost 1/3 of the size of her partner jumping and screaming at almost anything quite excited.
While Treadwing´s look sure is intimidating, her face without visor and battlemask looks quite nice and friendly so the pair only looks quite distracted until...
"Treaddy!!! Look at that creature!! so cute!!!" The smaller bot with a very girl voice comes forward to the direction of the Kaion.
"There she goes... Sunflower, wait don´t inconvenience the... oh scrap!" Treadwing walks yp behind Sunflower.

The fat alien paused, tail twitching, at the sound of voices across the main atrium. The Kaion had not heard female voices in a long while -- femme voices in particular -- and immediately had his fascinated piqued. Abruptly he turned about, ignoring the disinterested stranger, to sit up and look at the tall mecha approaching them.
"...Cybertronians?" he mumbled to himself.

Sunflower, the smaller one running straight to him and sneeling to look as close as possible trying her best not to to touch the Kaion which would immediatly lead into a squuezing hug... potentially dangerous to the little creature - aaawwwnn you are sooo cute!!! I mean... super cute, and fluffy!!!
Treadwing aproaches, her bulky feet making a huge noise against the floor - Sorry for the inconvenience ern ... my companion here is a bit too curious... - she looks at Sunflower - hey Sunny girl, let´s not trouble anyone kay?
But Treaddy... - The small bot looks opening her eyes widely - well... maybe we are right, we got to shop for goods right?

The Kaion soaked up the attention like a plant in a sunbeam. He visibly fluffed and lashed his tail in pleasure, ears perking forward as he did his best to look absolutely adorable.
"Why yes ma'am!" he exclaimed, eyes huge and sparkly. "I'm pretty much the cutest thing around these parts, except for you, sweetheart." He flashed a wink up at Sunflower's glowing visage. "Y'ladies lookin' for ship parts? I know where to get 'em!"

The fluffy orange Kaion positively beamed. "My name is Billy!" he replied, his voice as tiny as the rest of his body. "I'm acting as a broker around here, to help with newcomers and visitors to this station. You need a little bit of everything, eh? No sweat! Just follow me, I know a guy who deals in Cybertronian-class ship parts. That's what you need, right?"
Then with a bound he turned about and started bouncing across the floor, crossing the main atrium towards the terminal interior. He led them past maintenance booths and tourist shops, the food court and coffee bars (well, 'coffee' bars), and finally ended up at a large mechanics shop that opened out to a back lot. The backlot also had access to the main circuit of runways, which was handy for taxiing ships and assorted vehicles.
Next to the mechanics shop was the parts store, where a tall, lanky robot was changing the labels on the shelves. The wall was a series of windows portraying 3D holograms of various new parts for sale, as well as parts on sale at a discount. There were charts and datapads for marking off items and quantities on a list, as well as models and and advertising posters on the walls. The robot in charge was not a Cybertronian but some other kind of robotic being, more organically-shaped but with the prerequisite head, legs, and torso. It also had four arms, but surely that was just a utility thing.
When it spotted Billy squirrelling towards the front counter, the robot turned its head -- which was a basic block shape with no visible face, just an optic band and a speaker for a mouth -- and called out to him.
"Hey, Billy!" the shopkeeper greeted. "And wow, what a pair you've got there! How d'ya do, madams!" The robot ducked its head and waved to the femmes as they approached.

Sunflower walked all the way talking and asking hunderds of questions to Billy while Treadwing looked around everything trying to distract herself or to spot any weapon shops, bars or arenas, much to her usual interest.
Reaching the shop Sunflower looked everywhere at everything, hunds behind her back forcing herself not touch anything as Treadwing has taught her.
Tread on the other hand approached the shop bot with a wide smile - hey there buddy, can ya find me anything on this list please? I mean I didn´pt make the list, but I sure know what most of that is - she says that looking straying on to the optic sensor of the robot to ensure she wouldn´t be swindled and handed him a datapad.

Billy was only happy to answer as he bounded along smoothly, as was the normal method of locomotion for his species. He was a pleasant and cheerful fellow, very knowledgeable and highly enthusiastic. He was, if anything, matched in enthusiasm by Sunflower, whom he appeared to share many qualities of personality.
Once at the parts supply shop, Billy then leap up onto the front counter, so as not to be the shortest person around.
The shop robot meanwhile inclined his head to Treadwing with a blink of his optic band. A single light on the band orbited around his head until it was focused on the datapad being handed to him. One of his four arms took the pad and inspected the list. "Hmm... yep yep yep, I can getcha all of this stuff, I think," he finally declared, after scanning the items on the list. "Come with me!" And with that, he waved for Treadwing to accompany him into the shop, where other customers were meandering the aisles.
Meanwhile, Billy continued to beam up at Sunflower, tail wagging. "So! What brings you to Panguul?" he asked, meaning the planet in general.
