The Praxus Hub (The Hub, the Prax, the pub) is owned, managed and bartended by a Cybertronian named Coal. The small pub can accommodate about 10-15 average-sized Transformers at once, with maybe one or two large heavies; because of the great variance of Transformer sizes, a good businessman makes provision for all kinds of customers. It's a homey, comfortable place with the bar in the back, a multitude of tables and chairs (not bolted down, unfortunately), but there are only two walls in the establishment; it's just too hot, and air conditioning is expensive. This means that walking in and out requires no doors, and that the wonderful view outside of the scummy main street and of the main market promenade is not obscured. There are a few ceiling-supported TVs showing intergalactic channels (including most of the Junkion pirate stations) and an old jukebox that sometimes starts up on its own (apparently Coal bought it at a yard sale). The high ceiling is supported by a series of steel beam rafters, and there are several thick roof-support posts with a smattering of graffiti scrawled on them. Old ceiling fans spin fruitlessly in the humid air.
The Prax has been outfitted to be a prime example of down-to-earth, domestic Cybertronian innercity culture. Named after the city that was destroyed early on in the Cybertronian war, (Prowl's homecity), Coal still has photos of the city at the height of its prosperity on the walls around the place. There's even a picture of him standing in front of the original Praxus Hub pub in Praxus millions of years ago.
Outside, the Prax is like any other bar, albeit roofed in corrugated metal sheeting, and vulnerable to damage from riots or general street violence. There is a sign sticking out over the doorway with THE PRAXUS HUB in neon letters, and a bulletin board tacked under the outermost TVs, covered in several layers of flyers and ad postings. The rear exit is actually a side exit, and is sheltered from rain by an upper deck that comes with a metal staircase leading down from the upper storey above.
